How to run exploration simulating a full cycle New Venture project
Technicians will find clear and unambiguous guidelines to run effective evaluation of the prospectivity within a given area, a recap about the main drivers, the tools and their strengths and weaknesses, the most common pitfalls, a number of suggestions and tricks based on three decades of work experience.
Attendants will learn through live course, with hand-on practical exercises and a booklet.
They will run on their own or in pairs seismic interpretation, mapping and other exercices targeting an effective evaluation of block potential, via the simulation of new venture analysis, until the presentation to management or partners, with the help and support of the teacher.
Results will be checked at the end of each day and shared among students, to facilitate knowledge sharing.
All documents are provided.
No specific requirement for this course that can take place in any meeting room with validated HSE characteristics, in your company premises or elsewhere.
Five days (35-40 hours) is the ideal time. The course can be shortened or lengthened according to the request.
